Mission Statement:

St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal School inspires a love of inquiry, a sustaining faith, and a generous spirit open to ideas, peoples of the world, and a call to service. At our Episcopal School, students discover who they are as learners, leaders, and friends. We create a welcoming community encouraging each individual to grow in Confidence, Compassion and Character, grounded in the knowledge that each is a child of God.  We are committed to cultivating the intellectual, spiritual, and moral growth of each child through a rigorous academic program, spiritual guidance, and a nurturing community, preparing students for a future of service and leadership.

St. Martin’s in the Field Episcopal School upholds the principles and ideals of all Episcopal schools through four pillars: community life, commitment to social justice, school worship, and religious formation. Implementation Plan:

To ensure the successful execution of the strategic plan, the following steps should be taken:

  1. Form Strategic Planning Committees: Create committees with faculty, parents, board members, and students to oversee each goal area.
  2. Develop Detailed Action Plans: For each strategic goal, create specific action plans with timelines, responsible parties, and measurable outcomes.
  3. Monitor Progress and Adjust: Establish a system for tracking progress, including annual reviews by the board and community feedback sessions to ensure the plan remains relevant.
  4. Communicate Effectively: Regular updates should be provided to the school community through newsletters, meetings, and digital platforms to maintain transparency and engagement.

By focusing on academic excellence, spiritual growth, diversity, and community involvement, St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal School will continue to prepare students for meaningful lives of service and leadership while adapting to the evolving needs of the community.
