Matching Gifts

Many employers will match or multiply gifts their employees make to St. Martin’s Episcopal School, which can substantially grow your contribution to our School. Simply ask your employer’s Human Resources Department if your employer sponsors a corporate matching gift program. If your donation is eligible for a match, request a matching gift form from your employer, and complete and mail it with your gift. If you need help determining if your company supports a matching gift program, please contact Christina Hanson, Director of Development and Marketing.

Appreciated Securities

Did you know that gifts made from appreciated securities like stocks, bonds or mutual funds benefit both you and St. Martin’s Episcopal School? By donating appreciated securities directly to our School, you may reduce your cash outflow and avoid capital gains tax. Please consult your professional tax and financial advisor.

To make a gift with appreciated securities, please contact the St. Martin’s Episcopal School Development Office at 410.647.7055 with the name of the donor and stock to be transferred prior to the donation, so we can credit your gift. Please include your name, name of the stock, and number of shares.
