To teach the habit of goodness to our young people we must make a habit of giving.
St. Martin’s Episcopal is an Independent School because it designs its own programs and curriculum, operates without financial support from the national or state government, and is governed by its own Board of Trustees. Unlike public schools, which are funded by tax dollars, independent schools rely solely upon tuition fees, endowment income and proceeds from fundraising to meet their operating expenses.
Every day at St. Martin’s, we see the important impact of an independent education on the young minds of our students. On our campus, students gain confidence, grow in intellect, and become curious scholars and critical thinkers while forging lasting friendships in our classrooms and hallways. Small classes, great teaching, close attention from subject-area experts, and innovative programming take investments of time and treasure.
Our tuition and fees cover only about 80% of the true cost of educating students. As is the case with all independent schools, our advancement efforts are designed to support the school's ability to offer an enriching educational experience, sustain our strong academic curriculum, enhance teaching facilities and strengthen the school's financial resources.
Contributions to the School are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law, and can take many forms: secure online donation, check or cash. Corporate match programs are widely available as well. To make your gift to St. Martin's, please visit our secure online portal here.
At St. Martin's, we are so grateful for the show of confidence in the school exhibited each year by the strong continued support of our community. Our parents, faculty, staff, Board of Trustees, alumni, grandparents, and friends have made St. Martin's their philanthropic priority during their child's Mustang years. We hope that you will, too!
