Parent Association

The Parent Association at St. Martin's Episcopal School adds strength to our programs, our community, and, most importantly, our children. Our school is privileged to have an active, creative group of parents who support school fundraising campaigns, create spirit-building events and volunteer on our campus and in our classrooms - all to benefit the school.

Who are we?

The SMPA is an all-volunteer, parent-run, non-profit organization committed to enhancing and enriching the social and educational environment at our school. Our goal is to keep parents informed and encourage them to be a vital part of their children’s experience. We seek to build a strong community through both volunteerism and fellowship.

What do we do?

Almost every extracurricular and in-school social event at St. Martin’s is sponsored and produced by the Parent Association. These include our fun-filled, age-appropriate events for the Preschool, Lower School and Middle School, student-guardian and family friendly events, holiday celebrations, community receptions, the book fair, and field day. In addition to our programming geared towards students and their families, we also plan and fund monthly faculty and staff Thankful Thursdays, Teacher Appreciation Week, and other gratitude initiatives to thank our awesome teachers.

How do we do it?

The PA operates on a universal dues structure. This format follows the lead of many other successful parent associations, including local public and private elementary schools, allowing the Parent Association to run a fiscally responsible operating budget, hold consistent events for all students, and cut down on the much-bemoaned small fundraisers throughout the year.

The PA will continue to support the school in meeting its annual St. Martin's Fund goal and with its School Gala & Auction by providing volunteers for their fundraising efforts.

Get Involved

Attend our monthly PA meetings at 8:45 am on the first Thursday of each month. It’s a great way to get involved and stay updated with all the happenings at St. Martin’s!
